Okay, it's time . . .
I've been thinking a lot lately about my guiding light - the reason I create or the drive to create that lives so strongly inside me. Far too often, I find it harder and harder to define and I keep returning to cool ideas to execute on with still the unanswered question....
What the F*ck am I even doing here?
The answer to that? Change the world.
The execution of that lofty goal? Not as simple. I want to make images that inspire people or show the world my own personal improvement as an artist. I want to shine the light on creative circles that don't get a lot of eyes on them or elevate concepts that need to be talked about more in society today.
I also want to do it in a way that won't get me canceled on social media. I want to speak my mind freely without giving it all to Facebook/Meta. So here I've created a place that I don't need to share with the uber wealthy information overlords.
So answer the damn question:
For starters, I want to focus on photography and the creation of the photograph as a Zen art form. It's how I quiet my own mind through art. I'll also be sharing my writing process for my Poetry, the gear that I use to create photographs, and I'll sneak in politics where I can.
